vizNET Showcase 2009

I should have already posted about this competition, but just in case you have an outstanding visualization waiting for recognition, here is a good opportunity.

vizNET is a collaboration between a number of visualization centres in the UK that has been established to share knowledge, communicate best practice between application domains, provide training and support to researchers in visualization. Now entering its fourth year, vizNET Showcase is an annual competition to highlight the very best in visualization research from around the UK and the world. The goal is disseminate best practice and provide stimulation to users and developers of visualization in all application domains.

This year’s first prize is a considerable amount of £1,000, but if you want to submit your work you need to be fast: the deadline is March 13th.
