I'm constantly bewildered by the inspiration provided by Nature in the most insignificant and ordinary elements. This project is the sixth example in the entire VC database that is not a human interpretation of a system but an immediate snapshot of the system itself. This one in particular, besides being visually striking and thought-provoking, can be highly stimulating to anyone interested in the radial convergence method of network visualization.Eyescapes is a series by Rankin, an incredible photographer that has represented a vast array of subjects. In Eyescapes Rankin photographed people's eyes up close and then created a series of round photographic prints that show the iris exposed and enlarged. The final output is absolutely mesmerizing.
