Project Description:
The XX shared their album stream Coexist with a single fan, just before its official US release, to try and see whether they could replicate their initial viral success via word-of-mouth again. This time, they also tracked the shares of the album stream. Microsoft created the visualization, inspired by Aaron Koblin's visualization of flight patterns in the US. Each share is represented as a curve from one location on the globe to the next.
