Project Description:
The Living City aims at showcasing the physical infrastructure networks that abound every city, from roads to subway lines, and the various flows of people, vehicles, information and goods. The author has analyzed various flows and interactions in cities across the world, such as New York, Paris, and London. The first image shows the flow network for London?s Cycle Hire scheme, known as the ?Boris Bikes?, while the second one illustrates the flows on the London Underground network during a typical weekday (top) and weekend (bottom) by analyzing Oyster data.
