Project Description:
Aaron Siegel is a student at CADRE Laboratory for New Media in San Jose, California. In the Spring'05 semester, as part of a Human/Machine Interface class, Aaron mapped out a chronology of his research paths via social bookmarks on del.icio.us.
Over the semester Aaron bookmarked 270+ web sites in the course of his research on various school and extracurricular projects, as well as on personal interests. The project is still ongoing and has become the author's primary form of cataloging his web browsing activity.
Viewers can navigate and discern the trends and occurrences in his research activities. It updates with his most recent bookmarks every 6 hours, and Aaron plans to create a future version where anyone will be able to visually track their own bookmarking habits.
