Project Description:
Toby Maloy, an Architecture student at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (UK), created this colorful and intricate diagram that aims to map the amount and type of connections between flickr tags, shown by the varying size of inner circles. The thickness of connecting lines also represents the amount of photos the database could have access to by adding additional tags to the search. The idea is to see how people start to perceive London from a specific point. In this case the point/tag is "Trafalgar" so the diagram shows the most common tags associated with Trafalgar and begins to analyse the connections of these associated tags.
