Project Description:
This quite remarkable map represents all tariff zones of Karlsruhe public transportation system. Karlsruhe, with a population of 283,959 is a city in the south west of Germany, in the Bundesland Baden-Wurttemberg, located near the French-German border. All information is in German, which makes it a bit hard to understand all the elements and concept behind the map.

I've been looking for this map online for years, since I first saw it in a station near Karlsruhe. I still don't know for sure what it all means, but it's one of my favourite pieces of graphic design. Fantastic. Thanks!
