Project Description:
Designer Francesco Franchi has produced an array of interesting graphic pieces, some more detailed than others. This one is a typographic map of the underlying complex system that rules the daily production of a newspaper. The map is divided into two main areas, each sub-divided into 3 elements. The Production Process features Production, Content and Form; while Market, Target, Semiotics and Cognitive Psychology, make the Outside Influences.

It all comes together in this detailed map where closeness between words signifies a connection and other links are traced by lines. The map's legend is also worth seeing.
