Project Description: This is a very interesting conceptual diagram that documents every instance of the phrase "is the new" encountered from various sources in 2005. It is intended to map the iterations of a peculiarly common marketing and literary device.
Some examples are: MFA is the new MBA; Technology is the new Religion; Ajax is the new Flash; Clarendon is the new Helvetica; South Korea is the new Hong Kong.
