Digg Arc is part of a set of interactive visualizations from Digg Labs that look beneath the surface of the Digg community's activities, one of the most active online social communities on the web. These visualization tools are extremely interesting and useful for observing the level of activity within Digg. They are the result of a collaboration with Digg partner Stamen Design. Digg has also released a public API so that anyone can turn Digg data into their own visualizations.In this particular execution, Digg Arc displays stories, topics, and containers wrapped around a sphere. Arcs trail people as they Digg stories across topics. Stories with more Diggs make thicker arcs.
