Project Description:
OpenCalais is a web service that aims to enable the semantic web. It returns a list of elements such as people, countries, organizations, from any inputted unstructured text. It also tries to extract relationships. Jer Thorp has built a tool in Processing which builds a content map using OpenCalais; this particular map is for part of one of Haruki Murakami's short stories, 'Hanalei Bay'.
