Project Description:
This iPad app, part of an exhibition ond esplay at ZKM, bills itself as "A field guide to the hidden world of digital networks". We are surrounded by an invisible world of connectivity that enables modern control and communication systems. This real-time, location-based visualization depicts the fields and network traffic of cell phone towers, wifi routers, navigation and observation satellites, and their signals. In the exhibition space, it also illustrates the wired communication infrastructure in the space.
