Project Description:
This interactive map of reddit was built via network backbone extraction and community detection maps on user interests and subscribed subreddits, or Reddit topic-specific subforums. The authors analyze the network structure and find that it displays features of typical complex networks, notably scale-free structure, submodularity, and small-world structure. The color of the node indicates how connected the subreddit is, and you can click on a specific node for more information as well.
